Name Kyoko Has a BlogLocation MarylandFirst post March 2009

Kyoko Escamilla is a photographer, crafter, and apple farmer born and raised in Nagasaki, Japan. From an early age, she’s been passionate about comics and superheroes. Thanks to them, she learned english, heroism, and the fact that not everyone can pull off the cape look. “Superheroes were my first set of friends,” she says. Every weekend, she sells her knitted hats, original photos, and apples at the local farmer’s market. Kyoko has dogs named Bo, Rufio, Tink, Lux, Mowgli, and Theodore Bear. She can juggle, enjoys magic, and is better at Call of Duty: Black Ops than you are.

Clark went on a harrowing bulldog walk last weekend that lasted nearly 30 minutes and spanned fifteen blocks!

Some moments deserve more than one angle. That’s why we’re ecstatic to give Photosets a huge upgrade today, giving you new levels of control to tell your stories the way you want to.

1) Photoset photos now open in all their high-res glory on the Dashboard and on your blog.

2) You can now pick a layout for your photos to tell the right story.

3) Tumblr Themes can now make Photosets look and work any way you please with a host of new theme variables:

{block:Photoset}
    <!-- Number of photos -->
    {PhotoCount}

    <!-- Integer representation of the layout -->
    {PhotosetLayout}

    <!-- JS array of the Photoset column counts -->
    {JSPhotosetLayout}

    <!-- Each of the Photoset photos -->
    {block:Photos}
        {PhotoURL-500}

        {block:HighRes}
            {PhotoURL-HighRes}
        {/block:HighRes}

        {Caption}

        {block:Exif} ... {/block:Exif}
    {/block:Photos}

The Burning House is a living gallery of photographs of the items chosen by people from all backgrounds, from all around the world. “It’s a philosophical conflict between what’s practical, valuable, and sentimental. You’re forced to prioritize and boil down a life of accrued possessions into what you can carry out with you,” Foster says.
